I loved this comfort read. It was like a hug in a book 🥰🥰

I enjoyed this lighthearted, fun rom-com about second chances. There are several characters, but they are all included in the story in a way that makes sense and isn't confusing. They all play an important part in the story.
I am loving this weather and loving my hikes... there is beauty everywhere if you just open your eyes!!
Book binge!! Stopped in a Welsh farmer's cottage in the middle of fields. No TV, no WiFi! What else was there to do at night but read books in quick succession. These books were cute, but I'm not a great fan of happy ever after. My mum passed these onto me, but I won't be looking out for the author.

Really there is no season that isn't good for Jill Mansell! But her books definitely qualifies for the type most people would call summer reads. This isn't my typical genre, but I adore her and her very charming and funny books! I wish more people read her.
When your five year old neighbour (with cancer) knocks on your door and asks you to take him to the park because he doesn't feel he knows the babysitter well enough to leave the house with him - you stop reorganizing bookshelves and GO TO THE PARK! ❤️
Not a bookish theme, but in Essen there is every year a walk in a park. Several light installation within the grugapark. 😉 You can walk around and drink a 'glühwein'. 😍
Used today to come down to the park and touch up one of my Little Free Libraries. Waiting for paint to dry allows reading time!
