Welcome to Litsy!

This was my first time reading Sandition, and I really enjoyed it! I‘m leaving off at the point Jane Austen did right now to give myself some time to imagine where she might have taken this had she lived. Reading the last thing she wrote has made me interested in reading her works in order, which I‘ve never done. So I think once I make it back around to this again (maybe sometime next year?) I‘ll be ready to try a version someone else completed.

It was worth the wait!! @quietjenn you really outdid yourself! I love everything! The treats all look yummy, I finally have a complete Austen collection with Sandirion, and the candles smell SO good! Excited to dive into these books!

Missed it the first time around , loving it.

Sanditon was the last book Jane Austen started before her death. She managed to get 60 pages done before passing. This book although started by Austen was finished by Kate Riordan and instead of writing Ms Charlotte Heyworth as Austen started her she pretty much made her a poor substitute for Elizabeth Bennett. If you‘re new to Jane Austen you will probably greatly enjoy this book. Sadly I am a fan only Ms Jane Austen could‘ve finished this book.
