So many triggers in these books. I‘m constantly cringing while reading. However it is Anne Rice, it‘s expected. I did enjoy listening to it. I remembered loving this series years ago and now I just find them to be ok.

I thought this book was way longer the 642 pages as it actually took me 21 days to read it. #AlmostAChunkster #ChunksterChallenge2023 @Amiable
There are a lot of different editions of this book. I read the one that was 642 pages. I am disappointed in this book. It was not aboutanything I expected. It was weird and had an ending with questions, so I may have to read the third one, but I will wait a while. It was long for me. I did manage to find 4 bingo spots with all the editions. I hope that is not cheating too much, lol.#ISpyBingoJuly@Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks .#SeriesLove23 @Andrew65
Update for the #20in4Readathon I have read 3 and a prologue chapters in Tell Me and 5 chapters In Lasher, the chapters in Lasher are like 35 to 40 pages long. 😅 but I'm getting there. @Andrew65 Total of 9 chapters so far.
I plan on at least starting these two books over the weekend. With Canada day weekend and farmers markets I'm in, reading time will be down, but it shouldn't be hard to get 20 chapters read #20in4Readathon @Andrew65

🎆Yes! It took an unexpected turn from where The
Witching Hour ended, but it's intriguing

I liked it
I finished thislast night, and I‘ve been struggling with how to review it. Definitely a pick, but I initially gave it 5 stars—there is so much that I love about it: the story really picks up after the disappointing end of the first book, some new POV characters, and Julien‘s story is fascinating. Long, richly detailed, and completely absorbing, but some of the sex stuff got to be too much at times, and omg Mona is 13! 😣
So... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Has anyone read Lasher? I read The Witching Hour and liked it, but am having a hard time getting into this book. I am on page 101 of 629. I don‘t know why I can‘t get into it. Does it get any better?
Someone help me decide what to read next out of these three books
Mass market paperback edition. This is the second book of the Mayfair Chronicles (excellent series). I bought it used in really good condition and it‘s still in really good condition.
If you would like it be the first to comment “claimed”
Picked up a few books at an Estate Sale (the previous owners had great taste in books) and decorated for the season. #HelloOctober
Taking me awhile to get through this one. Just not grabbing me as much.
