After the momentous good news (SEASON 2!!!) I finally broke down and ordered this! 😍

It's honestly so much more beautiful than I was expecting! Other tv companions I've gotten over the years were thin, flimsy cash grabs. Not so here! 😁 Hardcover, over 300 pages, and filled from cover to cover with beautiful illustrations, photographs, and so much information! I can't wait to really dive in! 💕📚💕

So, I actually watched the tv series before listening to this book. In my defense I started the show without knowing it was a book beforehand and I can‘t resist David Tennant 😍. The book was everything I hoped and dreamed it was. It was the same as the show but of course with more details. Definitely one of my favorite reads. There was sass, friendship, danger, love, and comedy. What more could you ask for?

The actor who plays Warlock is the opposite of his character, and reading him talk about the food fight scene is just great.

SOOOOOO many tears in the first chapter and still 14 pages left. I didn‘t expect to cry so much during this first chapter after the pure joy of the show (or while not PMSing). Someone is clearly cutting a crate of onions somewhere near by. That must be it.

That is a total deal.
This is really how I approach all adaptations which frequently gets me in trouble with other die hard fans. That‘s not to say I enjoy or even like every adaptation, I just seem to be more open to changes and differences than a lot of other people.
