It is a very short read. About a man who's waiting for his wife to come home. But there's a time shift that makes it more interesting.
Good but not great.

I'm slowly making my way through Open Letter's first 75, purchased by my library. This is a novella about a man waiting for his wife to come home while he's taking care of his stepdaughter. It's memory and thought based rather than plot based, similar to The Mezzanine by Nicholson Baker. Translated from the Spanish, the author is from Chile.
So I just learned about Open Letter books and I might be talking about them very quickly. I love world literature!
Zambra's situations are always interesting, can't wait for Multiple Choice
