Like any short story collection, some were stronger than others, but this was a pleasant listen each morning. #treadmillbook

More like a series of short stories as we get glimpses into the lives of various neighbors from Chestnut Street.
Maeve Binchy is one of my favorite authors and it was nice to read one last thing from her. The stories were short, quick reads, but told a story in a way that only she could do.
Such a cute collection of character stories. They thread together slightly in parts and those were my favorite moments.

Apologies a bit late with this section of questions.
Moving onto the #MaeveBinchyBuddyRead during the #24B4Monday Readathon.
So far read for 6 hrs 5 mins today which takes me up to a grand total of 11 hrs 29 mins.
Starting the #MaeveBinchyBuddyRead.
This will be the book I finish the #EasterExtravaganza off with.
And my tenth Easter Egg for the Easter Egg Hunt part of the #EasterExtravaganza Readathon. ..... green cover. And with that I finish the Easter Egg Hunt.
@SumisBook Thanks for this! 😊🥰
Hanging out on my bed for a bit. This house is so noisy today. Maeve is always a good comfort read. Starting the #MaeveBinchyBuddyRead and 24:09 on the clock for #EasterExtravaganza
@Andrew65
Not a sunny day so not as vibrant as I‘d like them to be, but these are flowers in evidence in our garden at the moment.
Love the vibrant book cover too.

This is the schedule for #MaeveBinchyBuddyRead of Chestnut each section has different number of stories as these are different lengths.
Will post any questions on the even number dates and tag those reading in.
@Andrew65 It seems as though the chapters are the same but the page numbers are not the same. For example: your Dolly‘s Mother chapter starts on page 1 and in my book it is page 3. So don‘t use page numbers just chapter names.
This is the order of the stories for the #MaeveBinchyBuddyRead of Chestnut Street. These are taken from the American version on The National Emergency Library. I have checked with my English Version (got out from the library before lockdown) and thankfully they appear the same this time.
The only difference I have found is an extra story at the end in the UK version called Tara‘s Horse. Hopefully this will mean we won‘t have the same problems 👇
Due to work schedules in relation to Coronavirus I wasn‘t able to do the #MaeveBinchyBuddyRead in March so aiming to start this short stories book on 19th April, apologies for the delay.
All welcome to join us and if not got a copy of the book you can get a free loan copy from the National Emergency Library that we can all access during Lockdown.
We will aim to read over 5 sections.

Hi Everyone, apologies I‘ve not communicated about Chestnut Street #MaeveBinchyBudfyRead. The school I am Principal at was still open this week. Then announcement came on Wednesday that would close on Friday, but reopen on Monday as Care facility for Critical Workers and for any very vulnerable children. This has all taken up EVERY minute since, today first time had 5 minutes to myself but about to head into school. Hence my absence on Litsy 👇
We are due to read Chestnut Street for the #MaeveBinchyRead starting on Thursday. I am conscious libraries are shutting, so checking to see if people are still in a position to (or are warning to) read this starting Thursday.
Second book of my vacation. This was perfect poolside reading for me. Quick light stories. Couldn‘t put it down.
