"D" is for Deadbeat | Sue Grafton

Pickpick

Another good mystery! I enjoyed the fact that Kinsey thought she had finally narrowed down the killer and the story took a turn to reveal who the actual murderer was. And the whole book I was hoping it wasn‘t that person. I felt all the emotion she did about him and how the story ended. I think this is my favorite story out of the first 4!

"C" Is for Corpse | Sue Grafton

Really enjoyed this one! Even though my mind went in 20 directions about the murderer, it still didn‘t feel overly complicated. Sue Grafton descriptions are such a pleasure to read and I love that the language is not dumbed down! The subplot regarding Kinsey‘s landlord was a nice addition too!

B is for Burglar | Sue Grafton

B is for Burglar is the second book in the series and I am loving Kinsey! She is a great character. I continue to like the fact that the story isn‘t overly complicated and confusing, and I love that the vocabulary isn‘t dumbed down for the masses. Makes this teacher heart happy!

"A" is for Alibi | Sue Grafton

My mom loved the Kinsey Millhone series and I inherited most of the set from her. I just finished “A” is for Alibi and enjoyed it. It was a quick, easy read and was not complicated. I enjoyed that it didn‘t have so many twists, which is more realistic to me. Now, on to “B” is for Burglar!

Chestnut Street | Maeve Binchy

Maeve Binchy is one of my favorite authors and it was nice to read one last thing from her. The stories were short, quick reads, but told a story in a way that only she could do.

Mehso-so

Quick, easy read because it is a script. I enjoyed knowing where the main characters ended up and I love that a Potter and a Malfoy became friends, but some of the dialogue was odd and it left me wanting more information.

First Comes Love | Emily Giffin

Great, easy read. I enjoyed getting the story from the perspective of each sister. They both had problems, but in the end they realized what mattered most.

First Comes Love | Emily Giffin

Started reading this book and loved that it takes place in Atlanta because I am familiar with many of the places it mentions. Then on page 64, my hometown of Macon was stated as being the home of one of the characters‘ ex-boyfriend! Love it!
