1. Kirk Cameron‘s “Saving Christmas” If I‘m honest, I didn‘t watch it, and I would probably never watch it. The reviews make me think it just might be the worst Christmas movie ever! 🎄

This is the first in the Rabbi Small mystery series and it was charming. In the course of the book, we learn a little Talmudic law and become acquainted with what a rabbi is and does and learn differences between Judaism and other religions. A really good mystery and an extremely tolerant police chief round out this delightful book. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
I needed a palate cleanser and this book is doing the trick. I just recently purchased the first seven books in the Rabbi Small mystery series and decided now was as good a time as any to begin. Reading an old/new mystery series is always great fun, especially if it's well written and a quick read. The bad part of it is that when you're done you're done. ''Tis ever the book lover's dilemma.
Oh, Thriftbooks. You are so bad for the height and breadth of my TBR pile.
This was fun! A little slow to start, but I like Rabbi Small.
