pickThis is book 11 in the Pendergast series. It‘s really hard to review a book this far in a series. Add to it that it‘s the middle book in the Helen trilogy and it‘s even harder. It felt like a middle book and ends in a cliff hanger so I will pick up book 12 soon. I enjoyed the return of a character from Still Life With Crows (book 4). I also hope I‘m wrong about what has happened to another minor but regular character. (Is that a spoiler?)
Listening to this audiobook, and I'm loving it. I love this series, and the storyline are always intriguing.
so-soI always love Agent Pendergast, but this felt very much like the middle book of a trilogy... lots of build up, very few answers. Of course it left off on a cliffhanger, so I will be reading the next book soon. I did like the narrator though - he did a great job with all the accents.
The kids are napping, so I'm enjoying a brief #audiostitching break. This little bird is so cute!
pickBook #11 in the Agent Pendergast series. Great book...you learn so much about Pendergast and there is so much mystery that even he is having a hard time figuring out. It ends on a total cliff-hangar though...so now I need to get the next book ASAP!
