I finished my second #ThematicCozies #Animal pick today running errands. I found it cute & enjoyable overall, especially the setting of Wagtail, Virginia, a town set up to cater to pets & the pet experience inn that the MC‘s grandmother runs there. There‘s the usual cozy quirky small town characters—here they are humans & their pets & the mystery was pretty easy to solve. I would try another book in the⬇️

I had such a good time with #SeasonalCozies this year, of course I‘m going to join #ThematicCozies in 2025. Tagged is my pick for January‘s #Animal theme. First in the series & free to listen to on Audible.

I also found I‘d skipped a short story for the Shady Hollow series so I‘m going to read it as a bonus even if it‘s Halloween based. The SH series became a favorite this year & features a community of animals. I‘ll tag the first book ⬇️

First cozy in the Paws and Claws series. Was as enjoyable as the second in the series I read. I love cozies. It cleans my palate😊

One of my favorite things about cozy mysteries is the fictional communities that authors create. Murder, She Barked by Krista Davis is the first book in the Paws and Claws mystery series. The story is set in Wagtail, Virginia, which is my ideal town, where pets are the center of attention. 🐾🐶🐱❤️

I love a cozy and now I dream of living in a town like this! A place where dogs and cats are just as welcome as humans. 5/15 for #Jumpstart2020. Also checks the female author box for #WinterBookBingo and I‘m also considering it for the Finish in a Day prompt for #Booked2020.

My Kindle has spoiled me with not having to have good light in order to read. I‘ve tried various clip on book lights over the years and have never been satisfied with them. And I hate the extra weight they add, it throws the balance off the book even if they are lightweight. I bought a neck light this time and have loved it!! Plus it will be nice when I knit or cross stitch. (Couldn‘t take a photo I liked, so using the manufacturer pic.)

This is one of the two books selected to read by the November 2019 featured author in the Goodreads Cozy Mysteries group. Started it this morning and am 50 pages in. I‘m enjoying it so far, it really grabbed me from the beginning. #cozymysteries #pawsandclawsseries

The paws and claws series is my favorite cozy mysteries series. I adore the town of Wagtail and wish it were a real place.

I had read the latest installment in this series a bit ago and fell in love with the characters.... that book made me want to start at the beginning of the series and see where they all came from and I am glad that I did!! Such a cute cozy and can‘t wait for me if this series!!

Murder, She Barked is the first in the Paws & Claws mystery series. Holly visits her grandmother at the Sugar Maple Inn and discovers the town of Wagtail as become a pet-friendly getaway. There were lots of wonderful animals and plenty of sleuthing to keep me interested and ready to read the rest of the series.

Starting the first in the Paws And Claws series by Krista Davis. So far it's a really good cozy mystery with some fun animal characters! Added the rest of the series to my buy list.
