I am giving this a borderline pick because the writing is great and I love the female protagonist. The male protagonist is not super likable and I‘m not sure I liked him by the end but I still enjoyed this period #romantsy book. 6 of 10 for #JumpStart2020!

Funny, spicy, a new author for me but I‘ll read another of hers. I don‘t read many historicals, (though I‘m listening to an audiobook right now too!) but this was fun! #romantsy

Such an amazing book and I couldn‘t put it down. Julia and Nick are great characters with all their drama and baggage and love. #romance #romantsy

The hero really killed it for me. I gave him ever chance to redeem himself and grow up but sadly he never did. Big disappointment because the heroine was great! The plot had promise but a whiny, deadbeat hero who couldn't grow up made this book just meh.
