This book so far is really good.i really love it and it‘s one of my loved books
10 yo enjoyed this, groovy idea on how stories are 'spun'.
It was cute. There is a sequel. I don't think I'll be reading it, although I can see some of my 2nd & 3rd graders enjoying this.
It's a Reading Nook Tea, cozy socks, Harry Potter movie marathon, reading kind of day.

#audiobooks kept me in the game this month. I haven't had much sit down reading time lately. I'm going to enjoy a little now. Wish I could have participated in #litsypartyofone, but it wasn't in the stars for this weekend. Hope all of you participating are having a blast!!
"Good-bye, school shoes," said Tuesday McGillycuddy, dropping her battered black lace-ups into a bin full of lunch wraps and orange peel.

🔊I am a firm believer in serendipitous book finds and book karma. This podcast totally was my jam. Serendipitous books and book discussion if you didn't go to university for literature. Hilarious, informative, and these two are so likable.

Diving back into this one. I find it amusing that Serendipity Smith has JK Rowling level fame in the book but my daughter won't get that since she has no idea of what a phenomenon HP was when the books were coming out. Right now, we are liking the surprising detail about Baxterr.
My daughter wasn't sure she liked or trusted the Librarian character at first - perhaps because I had too much fun with her voice? - but once we got to this passage, she decided she liked the Librarian (81).
Picked this up at a Scholastic Book Fair last year for my eldest and we are finally starting it this week. Love this stage where I can read chapter books with her. I plan on reading to her and with her for as long as she will let me.
When Tuesday McGillycuddy and her beloved dog, Baxterr, discover that Tuesday's mother—the famous author Serendipity Smith—has gone missing, they set out on a magical adventure. In their quest to find Serendipity, they discover the mysterious and unpredictable place that stories come from. Along the way, she learns what it means to be a writer and how difficult it can sometimes be to get all the way to The End.

Cute, fast-paced adventure read about writers and the worlds they create. Pretty inventive!

This was surprisingly lovely. I won't go into the details of plot, but it deals with the magic of stories and story-writing, and so of course it's good. 9/10
