This book was very fun to read! The story becomes interesting very quickly and you never get bored. The book follows the journey of a girl named Emily‘s life one year after her best friend died. Her friend's parents kidnap her and try to replace their dead daughter with her. Different parts in the book will make you feel a rollercoaster of emotions. I'm so happy that I decided to read it. It was definitely a book that taught me a few things.

Did not love this, I found all the characters flat and unrelatable. I don't know why but I just found this so hard to believe, I think if it had been written differently it would have been more believable but it just wasn't for me.

So apparently I‘m not reading the inside blurbs close enough because I thought this was another girl dies, best friend has to find out why. NO! I mean, yes girl dies BUT best friend is abducted by the girl‘s family because they want her to pretend the girl didn‘t die, that she IS the girl. Such a plot twist for me, I loved it!!! Ending felt rushed, but really so different and so intriguing! Highly recommend!

It‘s been awhile since I‘ve committed to finishing an audiobook. I was intrigued by this YA suspense and it didn‘t disappoint.
