Workflow
Workflow: A Practical Guide to the Creative Process | Doron Mayer
7 posts | 1 read
A pro isnt just a person who can do it well. Its a person who can do it well every time, on demand and on deadline; which is why the key to being a professional creative is having a great creative process. Whether its writing a book, animating a shot, designing a game level or composing a soundtrackultimately, were all facing similar challenges. Since we share challenges, we can also share solutions. This book is a practical guide, featuring a universal creative process that can streamline any serious creative work, on any scale.

Literary_Siren Yep been back to work for about 2 months now. 4y
Susanita Working at home, and it's getting old. (I think it's more the working part than the at home part, though.) 4y
KathyWheeler Working from home. I have the option to continue to do so after the university opens, and I am taking that option. It will be quite sometime, if ever, before I‘ll be back in the building full time. 4y
TheEllieMo Never stopped working. While most of the rest of the country had shut down, we kept going, doing our bit to keep the economy going! 4y
jdiehr Went back to work in mid-May on the day retail stores in my area were allowed to open. It's so sad that small businesses are struggling to stay open. 4y
Arvena Went back to work since the end of May 4y
Jilly6183 Working from home officially for the rest of the year, but our boss told us to get comfortable because we‘re not actually coming back until there is an accessible vaccine. 4y
Aims42 Been working in the office the whole time. Real estate hasn‘t slowed down and people still want to refinance or sell 4y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm Been back since Monday. Today was the first student attendance day though. 4y
ElizaMarie I am a nurse so.. nothing has changed really. Well maybe a little more short staffed? Some of the more senior nurses took early retirement or a sabbatical for a bit. But short staff is pretty much a “norm“ unfortunately so. This isn't much of a “change“ 4y
Emily92Bibliophile Starting back on 8/3. I am a Public HS Library Aide. Students come back the 17, so we have a little time to prepare and get the library ready 4y
Fantasy_bookworm I‘m a student, but I‘ve been out of school for ages. Pretty sure I‘ll be doing online school in the fall. 4y
Revenge4bess I‘m a writer and work from home. 4y
Twainy Essential employee. I never stopped. I sort of got used to no one on the road or in the office. 4y
PaperbackReader Essential employee so I never stopped working. 4y
aperfectmjk Essential employee also... banker at a Credit Union. 4y
Ladygodiva7 Essential employee, never stopped working. Life hardly changed for us. Everyone in my family worked the whole time. (Warehouse (me), diesel mechanic, customer service, police officer, assistant nurse, tow truck assistant, firehouse subs, etc) 4y

Hot dog! So much for my unpaid leave—I‘ll be back to work on Monday after all! Also learned a very valuable lesson about procrastination! Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

When we moved (4yrs ago) into this house, we decided to turn the den into my library/office. Took over a year to decide how I wanted it and then 6months for the hubs to build the shell of the built-in. We are stuck there due to life pelting us with lemons.. but I finally broke down and bought a shelf for my work stuff! It feels good to have some organization back in this room; even if it‘s just one corner! 😂

1. Thursday (it started when I was in college and that was always the “fun night”)
2. Too many to even try. I love all kinds of music
3. It will be one of my busiest work weeks of my year. Big black tie gala next Sat that I am in charge of, so lots of last minute work. I have to write my script today!
4. Liar Liar by James Patterson
