Tip Top 6 | Hazel Imbert, Shelagh Rixon

I made it through 89 books this year, and these were my top 6!
My main genres were fantasy & romance, and I especially enjoy when the two are combined.
These top 6 show how much I like genre jumping.
My goals for next year are to continue in my book clubs, not overwhelm myself with reading, and to keep seeking out many different types of stories & experiences.

My Top 6 books of 2023! My main genres were fantasy & romance, and of course, romantasy easily tied those two together in a sweet spot for me.
So, these top 6 are a bit of a surprise as I‘m usually not a big fan of memoir & tend to choose fantasy over sci-fi, but here we have two memoirs (one a graphic novel), two sci-fi stories, a fantasy adventure, & a mystery.

I made it through 80 books this year, and these are my top 6!
Romance & fantasy continue to be my most read genres, but of my top 6, they are romance, historical fiction, adult fiction, fantasy, teen fiction, & mystery.
I had more DNF (did not finish) books this year than usual, and more 2 star reviews, but I also read some incredible books!
What were some of your best reads so I can add them to my list?

JuniperWilde I loved the Sue Monk Kidd novel. Which of these is historical fiction? 📚 2y

Eyelit I‘ve had quicksand on my tbr for a while. I read passing last year and was blown away of how much is said in so brief a book. 5y

erzascarletbookgasm Some say it‘s comparable to the works of Dickens, and I was a bit intimidated..also it‘s quite a chunkster but I‘m surprised it‘s unputdownable. It‘s very bleak though, but rewarding. @TrishB @Cathythoughts @Billypar
