Review:
It was ok til 2 of the Main Character's kept arguing constantly which bugged me alot.
Jodi Picoult is one of my absolute favorite authors but this book just didn‘t do it for me. I thought it was slow and needed to be cut down majorly. The storyline was okay but I felt like it was a bit cliched and written in a way that was a bit unoriginal considering the authors other work that I have read. It wasn‘t terrible, but definitely not one of her best. Trigger warnings for physical abuse and domestic violence.
It seems like this is one of Picoult's least popular novels, but I loved it! It's not my favorite of hers, but I loved it. I thought the description of domestic abuse awesome, and I also loved how she described Alex as a fundamentally good person who has a sickness, as opposed to some other characters in books who seem to do nothing else besides abusing their wife. It makes it more realistic that Cassie has such a hard time leaving him.
@TheReadingMermaid thanks for doing this fun #PicturamaDrama giveaway! I love picture #2! It's like so sultry looking lol but #3 is a very close second! It's super cute with the leopard ears!
My 2 favorite genres are YA and Fantasy!

Re-read for #readharder challenge. Been so long since I've read this one that I didn't remember it was probably my least favorite by her. Only 2 more books to complete the challenge!
Oh my gosh, I couldn't be happier with my #summersolsticebookexchange gifts! Thank you so much @tysephine ! The boys approve too 😜. I can't wait for the water to get hot so I can try the raspberry earl gray tea. I'm looking forward to all of the books as well! 💜💙❤️
Thank you @BookishMarginalia for organizing! You rock!
Ugh! I admit I'm not the biggest fan of Jodi Picoult but she's written some good books over the years; this was NOT one of them. Everything about this book was cheesy and valueless. The subject matter was domestic abuse and whereas Liane Moriarty handled it with literary suspense, respect, and importance, Jodi Picoult cheapened the premise. It did fulfill some challenge boxes so yay for that! And dinner was tasty 😋
Reading this dreck because 1. Low battery on my iPad 2. Book is due back on Wednesday 3. #LRC #SameAgeAuthor 4. Super sunny gorgeous day so even this crap is somehow more tolerable Happy Friday😘
This looks like fun! Got this off of Instagram, but might be fun to do here also. Who's in??
May I make a suggestion? There are several Litsyans among us who make stunningly gorgeous posts all the time. The first one I ever came across & has always blown my mind is @NovelPairing . Her work's immaculate. She puts a lot into getting her images just right, & her effort pays off magnificently every time. She leaves me & @BookBabe speechless. I highly recommend following this gem among us!!! 😎👌🏻 #TheMrBookSealOfApproval #BeSureToFollow
