pickJust absolutely lovely. The perfect holiday read when you're in the mood for something cozy. Predictable? Yes, of course & it doesn't disappoint. But instead of eye-rolling clichés, there's enough real life seeping in that it rings true. Financial problems, the inevitable distance that can grow in a marriage, & loneliness. One standout element is the descriptions of the food. If that appeals to you it's worth the read for that alone. I loved it!
pickSO GOOD!! I started this audiobook yesterday and listened while I ran errands all day-I just finished it as I‘m working on a pork stew for supper this evening. So delightful from start to finish!! Reminded me of a Hallmark movie. A mixed cast of characters get snowed in at Evergreen Inn over #Christmas during a major snowstorm. I‘m 100% adding this to my yearly #holidayreads list so I can reread over and over again.

This qualifies as a Hallmark channel sappy read. While I liked it, I am worn out on holiday sappy reads for a while. Same story, different setting, nothing new. 3.5 ⭐

I loved this book. I'm not a big holiday reader but I do enjoy a cute romance now and then and I could not put this one down. It's such a heart warming, beautiful story about an inn that is looking at having to close after a bigger, "better" inn opens down the road.

pickThis is my catnip - strangers brought together by a winter storm. There are quite a few characters and I found myself mixing them up at times. It‘s still a charming read.

pickI really enjoyed this one. There was snow, lovely descriptions of the inn, the decorations, and the amazing holiday foods, and....everyone got their happy ending. Realistic? Perhaps not. Holiday escapism without being too schmaltzy? Absolutely.
