This couple‘s romance fell flat but I was intrigued by the world building and the reveal of another supernatural creature.

Just finished this second in the Darkest London series...Daisy‘s story. I‘m loving that this series revolves around very strong, capable-of-saving-themselves heroines/sisters. Their heroes complement them, not overpower them. ❤️ Daisy and Ian both have self-esteem issues (hidden under tough exteriors), but find their true worth as they let down their defenses and fall in love. Lots of supernatural action involving werewolves and others. 4/5⭐️

robinb @CoverToCoverGirl Have you read this entire series or did you stop with the sisters‘ trilogy? 6y
CoverToCoverGirl The entire series of course. 😊 It just gets better and better and the final book, for me, was perfect! But I wished she‘d carried on with the series I loved it sooo much hated to see it come to an end. 6y
robinb @CoverToCoverGirl Good to know! Thanks! I‘m sure I‘ll continue on with it as well. 6y

This is the second of the Darkest London series. I am devouring these books! A fantastic mix of historical and paranormal romance, so far each book has been unique in its plot, while following the stories of three sisters. #romantsy

I'm kind of getting into these paranormal romances. This book continues the Darkest London Series and features sister Daisy who can control nature. Ian Northrup is a lycan and offers her his protection from a werewolf terrorizing London. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? But it is a pleasurable and quick read perfect for forgetting the world for awhile. I'm off now to put Book #3 on hold, because while I enjoy the books I don't want to own them.

Lauren_reading I need to get back to this series! 7y
thebookdiviner This is one of my favourite paranormal series! A couple of the books are a bit meh compared to the others, but overall they are pretty tops 👌 7y

I forgot I checked this out and have it on my Kindle. Started it before bed last night, but didn't make it far before getting drowsy.
