#newyearwhodis I enjoyed this quite a bit, I‘ve read most of the series over the years but actually am a couple books behind. I don‘t regret jumping forward to this one though. One small complaint, hasn‘t Sean been almost 5 for several books now? It‘s been awhile since I read one but it seems like he should have aged more, or perhaps he‘s just so precocious, I want him to be older than he is. @ElenaBaer @monalyisha
Current conditions: -18 with a wind chill of -45 my plans for today involve books, blankets, and beverages. Sadly I have to work tomorrow.
On to book 6 for my #newyearwhodis list! I should have tomorrow off (unless someone calls in). Probably I can get a good chunk of it done, if not all of it. Tomorrow‘s high is a whopping -12, with a windchill of -48. I won‘t be leaving unless I have to! #polarvortex #lifeinthemidwest @ElenaBaer @monalyisha
My other 3 holds came in for the #newyearwhodis challenge! @ElenaBaer @monalyisha
Really enjoyed this book. Gripped my attention right away and held it. There were several different plots going on at once. Although there was a lot going on, it was easy to follow along. I loved the characters and really felt a connection with several of them.
I love Savich and Sherlock. They are a great couple/team and really make the books more interesting.
This story is a part of the Savich/Sherlock series. The story begins with a federal prosecutor murdered while on vacation. There are connections to a previous crime spree and a man escaped from an insane asylum. The story has twists and turns and a surprise at the culprit. Highly recommend.
Another FBI Series that includes Savich and Sherlock. Someone trying to kidnap their son, Sean. A cheif that witnesses a murder on a lake. A lake full of bones. An old nemisis back. A Serial Killer. What more do you need in a book.
This is the first book I've read in the series. I enjoyed reading it. There were two interesting mysteries that were intertwined. The book opens with someone trying to kidnap the son of FBI agents Sherlock and Savich. He fails in the first attempt, but Sherlock and Savich are on guard and trying to figure out who he is. There is a second mystery when an attorney is murdered at a nearby lake.
I don‘t typically read mystery books especially by authors like Catherine Coulter who produce such a high volume of books. However, this was on the Lucky 7 shelf at the library and I decided to give it a try. Parts of it were annoyingly predictable but there were a few twists I didn‘t quite see coming. Overall a good quick summer read.
Once again my dog has decided to snack on my book. He seems to prefer the hard covers 😄
1. I cant be certain but I'm pretty sure it was either The Next Karate Kid or Camp Nowhere. Both were released that year and I remember watching the shit out of them!
2. YES!
3. I am obsessed with Post Modern Jukebox right now
4. The tagged plus about 3 more 😑
5. Will do!

Look what arrived in today‘s mail. @PatriciaU I got your package.
As for the book, it‘s a Savich and Sherlock novel. And I loved the series until Coulter started Messi g with Savich‘s character and giving him second sight. Hopefully it went back to just being great thriller mysteries.
Sherlock and Savich need facial reconstruction on skulls and my first thought was “ Call Eve Duncan, she‘s the best. Duh!!!” #booknerdproblems
I won a goodreads giveaway! Yay! This sounds like my kind of book 😄
Book 1 was way too easy to get through! Will review later. Now onto book 2!! 😉
