Loved this book so much! Em and Caleb are such richly drawn characters, and the writing is wonderful. Orphaned at age 12, Em and her younger sister are put on an orphan train, where they end up being separated. The book opens seven years later. When Em finally has the chance to travel to the town where she and her sister had been separated, I cried for several pages. Beautiful story, beautifully written, and emotionally satisfying.

I signed up with Revell Reads months ago and finally was selected for not one but two books! And then a third book came in the package that I had not entered for! Starting this one tonight.
