While I don't think he loved it quite as much as the first book, Runaway Ralph was another hit. I forgot I had taken this picture when we finished it the other night, as well as the next picture showing his sister's reaction to our next chapter book... Lane likes to send pictures like this to his dad at work in the evenings whenever we finish a book. #raisingreaders

I've had a couple duds I had to bail on with my personal reading, but Lane and I are still loving the Ralph Mouse books! Ralph just had a pretty intense encounter with some cats, prompting Lane to worry about our own cats and their treatment of the local mice... 😂😂

The Cleary rereads continue with Ralph. Not many of my Cleary books survived childhood so I‘m reading the random ones I have left. I liked the adventures of Ralph at Camp Happy Acres but The Ramona series is more my speed.
