In the introduction Florence say that songs and poetry have bled together for her. And reading through these lyrics and poems you can definitely see how se makes poems into songs and songs into poetry...
I've especially enjoyed the photography and art that formed part of this collection.

pickLate post but happy to say I finished my 30th book of the year on New Years Eve. My goal was 50, but 30 isn't too bad. I didn't love this one as much as I thought I would, it was mostly lyrics and doodles, I was hoping for more poetry. But still a beautiful book, especially for fellow Florence fans. 💜

pickThis was a gorgeous book, both in the physical sense and in terms of the content. It‘s a lyrics and poetry collection interspersed with artwork, photos, and handwritten notes. I definitely have a deeper appreciation for Florence + The Machine‘s music after this book and will have those albums on repeat for days 🎵
I‘m really only a casual Florence + The Machine fan but I‘m enjoying this beautiful book of her lyrics, poetry, artwork, and handwritten notes.
This book is so nice I almost had to keep it for myself! I'm sending it on a trip to Virginia for my friend who absolutely loves Florence and the Machines and Florence Welch. I hope it's everything my friend could want. (I'll have to settle for reading the Ebook version of it!)
pickI have been a fan of Florence‘s music for about a decade now and she continues to amaze me with her word-smithing. Listening to her music is like looking at a Renaissance painting (I know I‘m coming across as rather ridiculous in this review, but it‘s true) and having those lyrics written down in a collection adds so much more depth to them. Everything is so raw and so real with her and I love it.

Florence Welch still captures my heart. I‘ve been a fan of Florence and the Machine since “Lungs” and was excited to get my hands on this book. Florence has a unique way of thinking about things and I enjoyed this snapshot of her world. I couldn‘t give this book a full 5 stars due to some grammar issues and some of the poems went over my head, but I still recommend this nonetheless.

This beautiful book is reigniting my love for Florence + The Machine‘s music. “Lungs” is one of my favorite albums of all time, but I‘ve been a bad fan lately. So, I just ordered their last 2 CDs ... yes, I still listen to CDs. I can‘t be the only one, right? I blame my older vehicle.
PS. I‘m missing my dog so much. 😭 Today, my very sweet husband bought me flowers, encouraged me to escape to the tub for a while + brought me wine. 💕
One of my all time favorite bands, Florence and the Machine came out with a new cd recently and I've been listening to it on repeat! I love love love Florence. I love her so much I got one of my tattoos because of her. Even though I won't get around to reading it for a while, I'm happy to know she just recently put out a book of lyrics and poems 😍
pickOkay so, I‘m not really a poetry person. I‘m giving this a good mark because the book has all of her lyrics and cool pictures. She has a lot of little writings that are cool but I can‘t really read them. Also, she uses the wrong form of your/you‘re a lot and it‘s bothersome. It seriously broke my heart a little. But either way, if you like Florence + the Machine, you‘ll love this. If you don‘t, you‘ll probably hate it.

Biscuit wishes this book was a dog treat instead. Gravy is in the back being mildly indifferent.
