Star Wars Most Wanted
Star Wars Most Wanted | Rae Carson

Set before the events of Solo: A Star Wars Story! Han and Qi'ra don't have a lot in common other than not having a lot. They're street kids on the industrial planet Corellia, doing whatever it takes to get by, dreaming of something more. They each jump at a chance to prove themselves in the perilous world of Corellia's criminal underbelly, only to discover they are on the same mission for the same unscrupulous boss. When the job goes disastrously wrong, Han and Qi'ra are on the run--from pirates, a droid crime syndicate, the Empire, and their boss--and will have to learn to trust each other if they are going to survive.

This is the prequel for the Solo movie. In this Han and Qi'ra go on a job for Lady Proxima to get a data cube, which goes really wrong. They end up with the data cube and every one after them.

LibrarianRyan I wish I had liked that movie. That is what keeps me from reading this. 3y
BookwormAHN @LibrarianRyan I admit it's grown on me. It just doesn't feel like a Star Wars movie. There's something missing in it 🤷🏼‍♀️ 3y

5 STARS | GRADE A+ The sound effects on the narration is phenomenal, I loved it...and Saskia Maarleveld was pretty freaking fantastic...even when she did Han's POV. I think you'll like this if you're a regular reader of YA space-themed stories. I think Rae Carson did a more than adequate job with the many nuances that make Han Solo the charismatic character that he is. He was just so Han...and he will forever be my favorite character in Star Wars.

This one really delivered... I was expecting a lighter YA prequel novel, which it was, but I got quite an adventure! Double crosses, Empire defectors, street racing, secret hideouts, triple crosses, space pirates...and some where in the middle of all that how Han and Qi‘ra first learned to trust each other and Han‘s first time in space.

This was a fun, fairly light Star Wars YA read. It takes place before “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and follows Han and Qi‘ra on an adventure after an undercover job goes bad.

I know the movie didn't do well, but I loved it, and I loved this novel, too. Fast-paced, straightforward entertainment - what else are Star Wars fans looking for, Dostoevsky? Those looking for profound depth, well-developed characters, and abundant meaning are advised to pick up something else - if you're just after Star Wars fun, this does quite nicely.

Two new books from yesterday! I now have a complete set of the Cain Chronicles for my shelves and a new Star Wars book! (That I am not looking forward to because I loathe Han Solo)

Tonight I went to hear Rae Carson discuss her new Star Wars book! I have really gotten to geek out on Star Wars lately! She was lovely to chat with and it was so fun hearing about her process of working with the story board folks at Disney/Lucasfilm. I can‘t wait to read it! Hopefully before I go see Solo!

ephemeralwaltz So cool. Loved Solo! How's the book?? 7y

This was exactly what I needed after Solo!! This book adds so much to Qi‘ra‘s character and has a TON of reylo/ben solo nods!! Definitely in my top 5 Star Wars Books

DivaDiane How does it manage to foreshadow Ben Solo a lifetime before he‘s even a glimmer in his father‘s eye?!? 6y
Mccartershanon Idk but it DOES 😱 6y
