I've been wanting to try this series for a long time.
I ♥ her Joe Tesla series and the Order of Sanguines trilogy with James Rollins.
Free ebook on Amazon today with strong reviews on Amazon. Looks interesting, no?
This author has co-written some books with my favorite author, James Rollins, and what I‘ve read so far indicates she‘s a good writer.
Day 3 - #adventrecommends
This series takes place in 1931 Berlin Germany. Hannah is a crime reporter and she stumbles over a photo of her dead brother who is a cross-dressing cabaret star and one of his lovers was a powerful leader in the Nazi party. A 5 yr old orphan shows up at her door claiming to be her brother‘s child. She discovers scandals at the top of Nazi party and must protect herself and child. A treasure of romance & suspense!
This book finished up on Barnes & Noble Readouts today. I really liked the premise: Hannah is a crime reporter in 1931 Berlin, investigating the death of her brother. However, there were a lot of elements that just didn‘t make sense or seemed rushed or forced. I don‘t think I will continue this series.
