Now it‘s a blizzard outside so my thrifting plans are ruined. Currently doing legos and hanging with the Hubs. It‘s been a stressful few months (though exciting) and these romance novels have been a life saver. Brain candy 🍭. I loved the first in the Steampunk proper romance series so I thought I would try this one and it sticks with the fairytale theme too

This story is a loosely based retelling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale (Disney version mostly). I love the main character Isla Cooper. She is such a strong character and she has a fierce determination to do whatever is necessary to see her own curse lifted.
