This would be MF and would be good with S technique because of how it flows. This would be a good book to also tie in with a science lesson as it has to do with planting trees. UDL principle 1.1 with displaying information and EL 44.

This is also an environmental story, with a small more older explanation at the end of the story. The illustrations are rustic, but so perfect for this story. The man cries out without an idea of how to solve his problems, and a young girl Kate hears his call. She comes up with an idea of how to protect his house from the wind. Other teaching techniques that could be used with this book are RA, CR, GR, and IR.
