A great 3rd book - and a great message about just being happy in your own skin and not being bothered by anyone else. It was also a good seasonal book and made for a quick, yet enjoyable, read.

Another great Lunch Lady novel - now to see what happens in the final book...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A spooky graphic novel for Halloween! It was a very interesting read, learning about who Emily was and what her real motives are in the real world. Anya was awesome at standing up to her ghost and solving the real case of what happened with Emily.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked this children‘s book version of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod Crane, and the Headless Horseman. The illustrations were very nice and I love making this a tradition around this time of year (I listened to the audiobook last Halloween, which is narrated by Tom Mison - Ichabod Crane from the Sleepy Hollow tv series). I even watched the old Ichabod Crane movie to add to the fun of it all 🎃🐎
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cute! Poor Linus can‘t catch a break when it involves the Great Pumpkin 🎃
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved the spirit of the movie wrapped up in a children‘s book! Found it at my local resale shop and it was a great purchase! A great read for spooky season 🎃👻💀📚
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A very informative children‘s book on the one-and-only Alexander Hamilton. I really liked learning a little more on Hamilton and what his accomplishments were during his lifetime.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked learning about Malaka‘s childhood, her understanding of family cultures, and her overall realization of being her parents‘ American Dream. A very good graphic memoir that I‘m happy to have read!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great book by Raina! I loved learning more about her childhood and what she went through to learn more about her body. It‘s a great teaching method for young readers and provides insight on how to tackle your feelings.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another cute BSC graphic novel!! I loved reading about Stacey & Mary Anne‘s beach adventure, babysitting mishaps, and love interests. I can‘t wait for the next installment!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really loved this book! Great first novel by David Yoon! I was laughing and crying and feeling all of the emotions during Frank‘s journey throughout this book. Q is the best best friend anyone could have, Joy and Frank together are hilarious (along with the Apeys and Limbos), and if you‘re also looking for a great narration of this story, try out the audiobook as well!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A good story for young readers. Illustrations were cute and included great lessons for little ones on how to never give up.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A quick read, but very cute and humorous ☺️ A boy and a box become friends = a funny adventure for both of them.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Acne and school pictures...bad memories 😅😧 However, the BB and lunch ladies knew what to do to stop the bad photographer 👏🏻🎉
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Math and mutants, what could be better than that?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow, what a powerful book depicted in illustrations. Reading this reminded me a lot of reading “Thirteen Reasons Why.” It also serves to be a book that I need to read vs. just reading the graphic novel. I am so glad that Melinda stood up to her attacker and was able to make the perfect tree for her art class. Finding her voice was hard to do, but she found it and is a force to reckon with. A must-read!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked this version/retelling of Cinderella, told through a cyborg‘s perspective. I noticed some similarities between the 2 stories and it kept me engaged the entire time. Now, I need to read book #2 to know what happens next!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A creepy and interesting children‘s story...definitely a different read for me, but now I can say I‘ve read it and can compare to the movie version.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked the 2 stories of a mermaid and P.T. Barnum meshed together. I was swept up in a wonderful fantasy of mermaids, performances, and romance ❤️ I felt so sad for Amelia during the hard times, but she stayed true to herself and did what was right. Great start to my Christina Henry obsession!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Best. Fall. GN. Ever.
I love Josie and Deja‘s work relationship and how Deja doesn‘t give up in helping make Josie‘s last night at the patch memorable. They go on many adventures, venturing through the pumpkin patch (which sounds like the best in the world), eating all of the best seasonal food, and looking for love. This was such a great read and I would recommend it to everyone!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was just ok - it jumped all over the place, and some parts confused me (as they looked like flashbacks, but went straight back to present day), but it was overall an ok representation of some of my favorite childhood book/movie characters. It was kind of neat that these characters were a little older and got to travel back to their worlds and into the other worlds as well.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5)
What a great way to end the trilogy! I‘m very happy to have picked up these books (thanks to Bookstagram), so if you‘re looking for a good adventure, that is action packed and occasionally humorous, this would be a great trilogy to pick up ☺️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was another good GN by Ostertag! I was really happy to see Aster learning more magic, making new friends, and helping others out when they really needed it. I can‘t wait for the 3rd installment!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Still as good as the first read! On to book 2...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you like music and beautiful illustrations, this is the GN for you! I really liked learning more about some of the different music genres and people that are well known in them. Plus, it definitely made me think of my song and how it‘s the perfect tune for me (makes me dance every time I hear it).

(4.5/5) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. I loved Eleanor‘s quirkiness, her way of doing things, and her friendship with Raymond. What happened to her and her family when she was younger was really sad, but as the book developed, so did her courage to move past it all and make a better life for herself. A good read that kept me wanting to find out more with every chapter.
Omg, I flew through this book in one setting!! I loved it!
It combined many subjects, such as moving to a new town, Cystic Fibrosis, and Día de los Muertos (reminded me a little bit as a cross between the book, “Five Feet Apart” and the movie, “Coco”).
I highly recommend this to any age and give praise to Raina for another great GN ?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed this one more than I thought! Maggie is haunted by a local ghost, she makes new friends as she adjusts from being homeschooled to attending public school, and she has a great relationship with her brothers. Another great GN by FEH!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For a short book, it was cute and included lovely illustrations. So glad that I got a dose of magic from this GN 💕
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved how relatable this book was!! This author definitely knows how a reader feels, acts, behaves, etc. because this is how they were/are in real life. I was nodding my head the entire way through, agreeing with every scenario that a bookish person goes through. I recommend that every bibliophile out there reads this 📚💕
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great novel with Kai and Rat, including many surprising twists along the way! I‘m so happy to have come across this trilogy, as now I can‘t wait to get my hands on book 3 and see how it all ends!! If you love graphic novels, do yourself a favor and pick up this series ☺️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked this book. It had many elements to it that kept me wanting to read more and had beautiful illustrations. I‘m glad there are more books in this series, because I really enjoyed the evolving friendship between Rat and Kaidu. I‘m looking forward to the next installment.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another thrilling novel about the lunch ladies and Breakfast Bunch! They can‘t stay out of trouble, but they can sure stop it. Can‘t wait to keep going.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another crime stopped by Lunch Lady, Betty and the Breakfast Bunch 💕 Looking forward to see what happens next on the field trip...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great graphic novel for young readers to adults! Thanks again to NetGalley and First Second for allowing me to read this ARC. I fell in love with the cover and description, and of course the author (who wrote “The Prince and the Dressmaker”), so I knew I had to read it! The title also fits in well with our summer reading theme ⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved the many comics rolled into one book. I found out some of my favorite authors/illustrators were in this, so I decided to give it try...totally worth it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a cute book! I loved the beautiful illustrations, the new stories, and the morals behind each fairytale. I had heard about this book on NetGalley and then had seen it talked about on Instagram - so happy that I got a chance to read it!
I look forward to more GNs by this author and illustrator ☺️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4.5 stars - a great GN that helped me understand a little more hockey lingo and had a great storyline. I like that Bittle is a vlogger and was praised for his amazing cooking. A great GN that I will recommend for others to check out!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
What a great reread! It took some time to finish, but it was well worth it! It‘s amazing what you forget from the first time reading, but it‘s sort of like reading it for the first time again and I love that special feeling. Even though this reread brought back some sad memories from the first read, it also makes more intriguing to just keep going! On to the sixth novel! 😬😬
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Summer mishaps at camp? Nothing Lunch Lady and Betty can‘t solve ☺️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another cute Lunch Lady book! Sneaky authors...😅📚
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great book! Talking about how ideas, libraries/librarians, careers, and art bring out the best in you! Do what you love and what you‘re good at: “Make good art.” I‘m glad I got the opportunity to read this 💕📚
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great sequel! I LOVE that this one had librarians in it. On to the next one in the series ☺️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one was just ok...the illustrations were very colorful and the story kept me interested. It was a quick read, but we‘ll see if there will be other volumes to keep the story going.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks NetGalley and Simon and Schuster Children‘s Publishing for this ARC!
Hush learns all about becoming a witch, her family‘s history, and her town‘s legacy. What she does about it all is very interesting and makes for a great read. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves magic, friendship, and a good laugh! This book provides it all.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very cute book! I loved the lunch humor and that a pair of spunky lunch ladies fight crime. I definitely will pick up more books in this series!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pretty cute for being a smaller version of LW and loved the illustrations. Check it out if you like anything LW!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A good story for the summer reading theme, “A Universe of Stories” ☺️ I really like movie and never realized that this one could be a book too, so I decided to read it (since I read Jumanji and this stems off of that book). Obviously has some different scenarios than what was showcased in the movie, but what bummed me out was that the boys didn‘t even get to say “Zathura” to end the game. Can‘t always be same, I know.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved listening to the Audible version while reading this. Trevor Noah did such a great job narrating his own story, and man, he experienced a lot before writing this book. A man of many languages, experiences, and hardships, but he never really let that bother him. I‘m so glad to have finally had the chance to read this and now I‘m excited to recommend it to anyone else who hasn‘t picked it up yet.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Classic Snoopy, always on the go after the Red Baron. Cute story!
