Hello all! This is the link to a now published blog post for this wonderful ARC I reviewed here back in April. https://theresidentromantic.wordpress.com/2018/04/23/the-luck-of-the-bride/
I would appreciate a read or view, especially from those of you who do book blog. I'm new to this and I I'd love any tips or advice. ❤💕
P.S. this book is now out and if you do like Regency, this one was quaint, sweet, and refreshing.
I enjoyed the overall story, but I think I need to re-read one, or more of the first 3 books again. Did the current Duke of Langham have two older brothers that pre-deceased him, with the second brother dying before the previous Langham? Or was it an older and younger brother, and both pre-deceased him? It just doesn‘t make sense about the previous McCalpin. Or is McCalpin not honorary title for heir?
I'm giving this one 3.5 stars. I don't know if it's a 100% Pick but it wasn't a So-So either. The thing is that I loved the start but towards the end the narrative got way too flourished and the hero's attitude toward the heroine grated me. It was still enjoyable though, with complex characters and a girl that really needed luck on her side.

THE LUCK OF THE BRIDE The Cavensham Heiresses #3 of a 4 Book Series by Janna Macgregor. Can be read as a stand alone.
A heartfelt, engrossing Regency read with many twists and turns and an emotional rollercoaster ride. Have tissues at the ready, you may need them. Once again, Ms. MacGregor has delivered a romance with intensely powerful characters and a storyline that will keep you turning the pages.
The beginning was very engaging & promising. I liked how March was so committed to her family. What disappointed me was the ending itself. I felt that the reconciliation in the end was way too fast given the treatment of March. She was entirely too forgiving & it bordered on ridiculous. She was definitely entitled to some righteous indignation & shouldn‘t been so easily won over. ….full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews
This was an adorable book, a perfect could not put down regency. It's an ARC I received for an honest review. I'm not supposed to put up anything about it till April, but I had to post about the perfect book I just finished on Litsy. I'm legit gushing right now, so, so cute. I bought the other two. Pre order if you love regency books!!
