My brother recommended this book to me and it truly didn‘t disappoint. I did find some parts slightly cringy but sometimes you need that. There were so many jaw dropping moments and I‘m so ready for book two!
I picked this book because I recently acquired the third book in the series, and one of my Litsy friends recommended that I read the series in order. Not surprisingly, as I'm not the target audience, I didn't like this nearly as much as Reichs‘ bones series. Glad I read it, just the same. [I apologize to those of you who read the original post. I was sleep-posting. Yikes!]
[March16] I always wanted to read this Virals series for a looong time. Anyone read this series before? Any thoughts? 😊

I found this book really interesting. It is Reichs‘ first YA book. There was a good mix of crime, adventure, and a little Science Fiction. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series.
I love Kathy Reichs books. The great thing about this one is that it is geared for a YA audience. The main character is then long-lost great niece of Temperance Brennan (if you know anything about Reichs books or Bones then you know how fantastic she is).
The story is great with a plot that leaves you guessing until the end and craving more when you finish (luckily there's about five books in the series). Addictive. Fast paced. Great characters.
Day 5 : Sci-fi ??? XD not really surs this counts but whatever. It's probably the clpsest thing I've got. #quoththejulybookchallenge #books #bookstagram #virals #viralsseries #kathyreichs #kathyreichsbooks #scifi #sciencefiction #geneticengineering #mystery #crime #adventure
Although there were several gaping plot holes, it was an enjoyable read. 100 pages a night just flew by. Rating: 4/5.
