Or how much I read. 🤔🤔🤔

I'm 35. My nephew is 24 and I have to look up his abbreviations sometimes. 🤣🤣

readinginthedark 😂 Yep! 30 here! There's a distinct break in the few years after me that taught everyone how to abbreviate and understand texts, I think. 6y
LauraBeth My 14 year old loves to tell me how “no one texts in full sentences, no one uses emojis and no one uses punctuation - except for you and dad...” 6y
Ddzmini 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 yes exactly 6y

WhatThePuck @LauraBeth I just wish my almost 13 year old would use punctuation and capital letters. 😂😂 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity My niece texts like she's never seen a book let alone read one. She's 23. Then you speak to her and it's just like she texts 😭😭 I don't know how in the world people get are mixed up with our. 6y
WhatThePuck @Whimsical.Curiosity I have someone very close to me. Close as in we have to see each other a lot and not as in I share my inner most secrets who never uses the word "sell" it's always "sale." She also says "I seen that." Yeah? Did you? I've seen lots of things, I even saw you graduate college. 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @WhatThePuck OH goodness. Sounds very Kentucky education lol. 6y
WhatThePuck @Whimsical.Curiosity that good ol' Bullitt East. 😂😂 6y
RadicalReader @WhatThePuck my ex‘s mother told her son to speak English whenever he texted because he would always use text speech and people in school would hand in their final drafts of their essays like they were texting their friends 6y

Is it just me or is this ungrammatical? He saw a trail singular so it should be was, right? Or have my days as a SAHM addled my brain?

amsu311 It is suppose to be 'was'. 'He' is singular. 6y
Soozee This sort of thing drives me crazy. 🙄 You expect correct grammar in a book. 6y
shortsarahrose “Was” is correct, but the subject is “All,” which is singular. “He saw” is actually functioning as an adjective phrase here. English is complicated 🤦🏻‍♀️ 6y

LibrarianRyan Should be was. 6y
scowler1 All he seen was crumbs innit? 6y
BookwormM @scowler1 🤣🤣🤣 6y
Texreader I agree. It should be “was.” 6y

That moment when you see a Facebook friend, who wrote a children's book, using the wrong "your" in a post... not only did I get chills, but I realized how important editors and proofreaders are!
#JudgeyMcJudgerson

ravenlee I went to a library event a couple years ago for local indie authors. They had tables set up and I just bopped around, asking them to sell me on their books. I found a MG/YA mystery/supernatural that intrigued me, so I bought it and asked the author to sign it. When I saw that she‘d signed it along with “dreams are for your pursual” I lost all interest in reading the book itself. (edited) 6y

Ack! Is there an Edit button !? I'm a doofus that rarely catches my grammar mistakes until afterwards , LOL!

aquariusnat Also how are people not tagging ? Ive seen posts with untitled/unknown in the tagline . How ? 7y
GripLitGrl Click the 3 dots at the bottom right of your post the edit option should appear for you to click. Once your edit just hit the post button again & your all set 7y
aquariusnat Thanks ! 7y
shadowspeak17 They are still tagging technically, it‘s just not actually a book. Just search Untitled for the book title when you go to tag a book and Untitled/unknown will come up as one of the options. 7y
aquariusnat Thanks! 7y

SilversReviews @LazyDays No worries....I won‘t criticize. I have a few friends who consistently use these types of word incorrectly even after I help them. That is the most frustrating. :( (edited) 7y
