It‘s kind of self explanatory. Any rules? I think a new book buying ban should be on an individual basis. Qualifying books must have been physically on your shelf, audio/ebook queue, Want-to-read list, for at least a month.

Do we need a more official post than this to start with? I was thinking we could post our goals for a month and check in weekly and/or monthly on our success (or lack thereof 😂).

laurieluna I've tried to set a schedule where I read 6 books from my currently owned a month, then can do 'bonus books' or recently bought ones. So I may go in for this. 2018 will be the year I get my #mounttbr conquered! 7y

Sisasuku I'm in! I've set myself the goal of reading more books than I add to my #mountTBR pile until the end of March. This way I can still buy new books, I "just" have to read more than I buy 7y

DivaDiane @kspenmoll Great! I think even Library Books count, if they‘ve been on request or your list for a while. At least they aren‘t adding to any piles of owned books, right?!? 7y
