This was a quick palate cleanser between heavier books. It was a sweet story and I loved the Seattle houseboat setting. #20in4 book 2/4.

Now I want to check out Boat Street! Romantic mystery set in Seattle on a houseboat on Boat Street going back and forth between Ada‘s life in the present to the previous boat‘s resident, Penny, in the past. Ada has suffered some serious hardships and is still in mourning while Penny has been missing for decades. An easy, enjoyable read.

This is a cornfield near my old house. In the mornings, these flowers bloom. In the evening, when I came home from work, they wouldn‘t be there. Morning glories?!?

School started for my youngest daughter this week so I'm back to my post drop-off/pre work Starbucks ritual. This week, I'm lucky to be spending that time with my oldest, who doesn't start classes until September. She's off to college next year so I'll take all the hanging out time I can get. #morningreading #bookandcoffee
