Pretty Girls Dancing | 
Today, I‘m sharing my reading progress for the audiobook I started on June 2. I like it so far. It‘s a thriller about 2 girls that are missing and it‘s written from 5 points of view so it‘s interesting seeing how the families of both girls are dealing with their daughters being gone as well as how the investigation is going.
so-soThis was just okay for me. Teenage girls go missing; one disappearance occurs in present time and another happened 7 years ago. Stories are told from the perspective of the first girl‘s parents and sister, the current missing girl, and the detective trying to solve the case. The story didn‘t have much suspense. It seemed pretty amateur. I don‘t like to be critical; I‘m not writing any books and realize how talented an author must be. #MountTBR

pick4 ⭐️First we are introduced to Whitney, who makes a poor choice and ends up in a horrible situation, we follow her as she tries to cope with everything. Then we are introduced to Janie, Claire & David, the family of Kelsey Willard who is another teenage girl who went missing 7 years ago. We follow how Kelsey‘s family has dealt with her absence. Then comes Agent Mark Foster who notices a similarity between the cases and tries to uncover the killer.
pickThis was a pretty solid thriller with a creepy edge. The characters were really the driving force in this novel because they were all connected through a form of loss in one way or another. The build up to the end was good and stayed interesting all the way through. It was definitely a twisty book about missing girls and secrets in the lives of those involved with them.
Years ago Kelsey Willard disappeared and was presumed dead. The tragedy left her family with a fractured life—a mother out to numb the pain, a father losing a battle with his own demons, and a sister desperate for closure. But now another teenage girl has gone missing. It‘s opening old wounds for the Willards, dragging them into a painful past, and leaving them unprepared for where it will take them next.

pickThis was a mixture for me thanks to my kindle oasis of #AudioColoring and reading- but this serial killer thriller is a riveting read that I genuinely couldn‘t put down in either format! I liked the story and the characters- and definitely want to read more from the author!!

pickGreat thriller!!! Told from the viewpoints of the major characters, this book keeps you engaged from the beginning to the end. The storyline and plot twists kept me up reading way past my bedtime every night. Definitely a must read!!
bailedI just can't waste anymore time on this book and I'm bailing. I'm about 1/3 through and I'm finding it incredibly boring (which is not what you want for a mystery/suspense).
Current listen. Hoping it gets more in depth into the psycho thriller part, I can't get enough.

so-soI liked the overall story. Serial killer thrillers are my kind of book.. My main peeve about this book was that it felt rushed. Almost like watching and episode of criminal minds,Taking its time to build the story and introduce the characters ect..Then in the last 15 had so much potential.. I feel like it was slightly amature compared to others I've read.. I'm not knocking it completely, but it definitely wasn't my favourite book.

I stayed up way too late to finish this last night. But my real question- is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with Goodreads saving the date read? This book and the previous one are not showing in my read list or in the reading challenge list but it clearly knows when I finished them. #MountTBRChallenge #7
pickI got this book from Amazon First Reads and I‘m glad this was the one I chose.
It was fast paced and enthralling. Usually I have an idea of who the killer is but not this time around. I was so surprised at the end at who was really responsible. My mind was blown.

pickI won this ebook as a goodreads giveaway. It's a new release this month. I really liked how this book portrayed the family of the girl who had been missing for 7 years. One of the best books I've seen deal with grief in an honest and emotional way. The mystery itself was pretty good too.
