I decided to sign back up for the Amazon First Reads program and I chose my free book for the month. This is a screenshot of my Kindle app currently. I picked Mirror Me and I got the free bonus short story by Fredrik Backman. I‘ve never read anything by Fredrik Backman. I was signed up before and unsubscribed because I wasn‘t reading the books. I still haven‘t read the books from the program but maybe I will next month.

⭐️⭐️

The #amazonfirstreads books don‘t always work for me… but at least they‘re free! I was hoping for something more akin to “Dial A for Aunties”, but this didn‘t hold that charm. I was at least curious enough to skim through to the end instead of giving up completely.

4.75⭐
I do love an Amy Harmon romance and with this book, she skillfully weaves a tapestry of historical facts and creative fiction. This novel was inspired by the extraordinary experiences of a real-life young woman who dared to defy societal norms during the Revolutionary War. It is full of grit, determination, and love...including but not limited to romantic love. This was also my first finished “read with my eyes“ book this year.

KadaGul I picked this book for Amazon First Reads 📖 It 👀 interesting. #AmazonFirstReads 6mo
AudiobookingWithLeah @KadaGul I think that's where I got it from...either that or KU. I wanted to listen to it...but I don't like the narrator who narrates it. 6mo

What did you all pick as your #amazonfirstreads this month?
This one sounded interesting and creepy; and a bonus Max Brooks is always welcome!

⭐️⭐️⭐️

This had a dreamy Italian setting, delicious food descriptions, a cute romance, and sweet friendships. There are even some recipes at the end of the book, which was a fun bonus. However, Stella‘s character was frustrating at times and everything fell a bit flat for me. #amazonfirstreads

Enjoying this book when I have free time between decorating, appointments and filling out cards. Insightful behind the scenes of reality shows too, so that‘s interesting.

Update: very good book!! I was so emotionally invested and rooting for the couple and now I need a nap lol

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This #amazonfirstreads pick was just good, heartwarming holiday family fun! It takes place during Thanksgiving, so it was the perfect read for this month.

Started Penelope in Retrograde on my way to Anna Maria Island, Florida and didn‘t finish it until very early in the airport back and then read Role Playing in one sitting while on the way back in flight. Both very good reads, kept my attention. I do not usually read during my vacations, I want to enjoy my experience without my nose in a book, so I don‘t miss anything. The rest of the year, nose always in a book! #amazonfirstreads
