Dark and spooky book for this dark and spooky night! 👻
#ya #librarybook #gothic #mystery
This is a perfect book for today‘s #Screamathon photo prompt - Graveyard
I read this book last year and it was great. I gave it 5 stars when I read it. You should check it out!
Finished 2 audiobooks this week. The minute I read the description of this book, I immediately downloaded it. I could have cared less what genre it was and I was not disappointed. I loved the mystery, relationships and story line. I just wish there was a sequel l. #audiobook #scribd #historicalmystery #historicalfiction #ya
The twists! The turns! The secrets! The lies! I couldn‘t put this book down. I had to know all of the answers to all of the burning questions! Love love love this book. Another great #newyearswhodis pick. It‘s also my letter #b for #litzyatoz and my new to me author for #booked2019
1. Teleport - so many places to see!
2. My current read. Absolutely loving it
3. Yes
4. Fuller House
5. Done!
Tea, national championship game and my next #newyearwhodis read! I‘ve been sucked into to this story already. It‘s so hard to do things like go to work, clean house, laundry etc. when I have such a goood book to read!
My #libraryhaul for the #newyearwhodis event! I picked them up a couple of days ago because we were going out of town to visit my husband‘s side of the family for Christmas. They take such wonderful care of my daughter and give me some reading time 😀! Alas, about 10 mins into the road trip my daughter got sick all over herself and the car seat. We shall be staying home for the holidays. I may start one of these tonight to lift my mood!
Spent the day finishing up all my October reads! This one was a random pick from the library new section and I‘m so glad I picked it up! A great YA gothic-style mystery with a definite love triangle thrown in. Lots of fun twists with the mystery and I loved that though the love story is a very big part of this, in the end Valentine puts herself first. #yougogirl!

1. I forgot to take a picture, so this is from the site we got it from, but Sat we leveled a spot in the yard and the pavers that had been there, and then I watched my husband put together a sliding bench that now sits in that spot.
2. Cuddling a kitty, about to read Grass Kings, vol 2
3. Tagged.
4. Other than groceries, a couple of bookmarks
5. Now that my diet is limited, I'd say salmon croquettes with mango salsa.

Engaging YA murder mystery/romance, perfect for October. Valentine has grown up with the stigma of being a murderer's daughter. Her mother killed Rowan Blackshaw's father years ago, but now that it looks like she may have been innocent, and more people are going missing, Rowan wants to help her find out what's going on. Not an obvious ending/killer, so that's a plus! Includes a love triangle. #yafiction
Okay I legit actually freaking LOVED this ending. Really good mystery and my guests were ALL wrong. The setting had some really wonderful dark elements and the story had some good use of mob mentality. I honestly thoroughly enjoyed the characters. Only draw back is that its pacing was sometimes too slow for my personal taste.
I think I may need to pick up my own copy.
I'm finally starting this after having it for forever! It's a group read for this month of TBR and Beyond
Here are the most recent books I‘ve read, that I gave 5 stars to on GoodReads.
I loved all these books! And yes, they are all extremely different!
#ReadingResolutions - Five-Starred Books
#AugustIsATrip - Cemetery
This book was actually just released yesterday and a lot of it focuses around the town cemetery.
People think Valentine is weird because she‘s always at the cemetery, visiting her mother‘s grave.
This YA historical fiction mystery book was really good!
I was hooked the minute I picked up this book! I put everything else down that I was reading and just had to read this. I was intrigued from the start and had to find out who the bad guy was. So many secrets and twists and turns in this little town in CT.
Strong female lead, not annoying love triangle and a mystery that Valentine is determined to solve.

Seems like I have seen a similar cover on an adult fantasy book. Crown something maybe ...?
