I read this Batgirl series this week via Hoopla, and they were interesting. I liked how Black Canary was part of them and how some of the other characters became important in Barbara‘s life as well.

Eh. This was my first Batgirl comic, so I don't know if her character is supposed to be selfish and shallow. I would assume no. I won't be reading the second vol

I‘m ridiculously tired, but decided to watch an episode of Stranger Things before bed (bad idea because now I️ want to watch the last four). Now I️ may read cause obviously I‘m only partially listening to the go to bed part of my brain. Side note: it snowed tonight 😺❄️

Enjoyable read - certainly made me want to pick up volume 2. The characters are well rounded and varied. None of them felt like they were there to fill a diversity quota, they felt real and the conversations and dynamics genuine. The illustration style is also fab - Babs is super cute.

While this one had some problems, I really enjoyed it! This version of Batgirl is fresh and fun, and it's contemporary without being obnoxious. The central mystery is full of twists and turns I did not see coming! And the art is awesome! Also pictured: dog.

This was a quick fun read. I haven't read any comics related to Batman but this one was very easy to follow and I didn't need any pervious knowledge to enjoy it. If there's more to this series I'll definitely read them!

Thanks to one of my old managers at work I've really gotten into graphic novels lately. I'm not much for DC heroes but this one sounded good and my manager recommended it so I'm giving it a try!

I really enjoyed the first volume in this series. The focus on Batgirl starting a new chapter of her life in a new neighborhood was a great way to kick off the series. I liked how the story highlighted Barbara's genius intellect, computer skills, and detective abilities. I can't wait to read more of this exciting series! Definitely felt like it was trying too hard to be cool and hip and in touch with millennials (honestly what is with people's obsession with us) but Batgirl got an updated costume, cool friends, and it's inclusive. A+. The story was a little funky but very creepy-high-tech-takeover which I'm always for so I liked this; very contemporary take on Batgirl 😊✨

Great fun!
Batgirl and other familiar characters such as Black Canary are skewed a bit younger then the book "Birds of Prey", one I recently reviewed and enjoyed very much. Young, fun and modern, this is fantastic addition to the growing number of books geared at girl comic fans.

ArznersFishingRod The Dagger Type story is still weird, but they removed some of the most egregious moments for the trade release. For this I am very grateful, and the comic is an overall joy 8y
