Thanks for the recipe, @xicanti I made it for a coworkers birthday at work. It‘s a hit!! I did use the icing in the recipe. I have never used brown butter before so that was a fun experiment.

I‘m reading the second book in this Peachtree Bluff series. So far it might be a little better than the first one but it‘s too early to tell. The fat shaming has started again. ** so this coffee cake recipe is perfect.! Lol 😂

So I just finished this sweet series. If you like stories containing love, secrets, health scares, jilted bride at the alter and babies then this is a series for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. **Book 2**

This was second in the series. The family in this series is the sweetest. I felt like I knew them all so well.

I liked this book better than the first one (Slightly South of Simple); the characters weren‘t so annoyingly shallow and weren‘t so focused on bodily perfection. They all had real problems. I still feel that the mother‘s (Ainsley) reluctance to commit to a relationship because her grown children might need her was ridiculous, but overall, I enjoyed the book. Loved the sky on my walk today. #audiowalk

I went for a short walk on Christmas Eve day; since then, I haven‘t even been out of the house. It was nice to be outside on such a pretty day. I split my 3.34 mile walk between 3 different places. I can‘t decide how I feel about this book. When your husband has been dead for 16 years, and your children are adults with children, isn‘t not wanting to be in a relationship with someone you love “because of the children “ just an excuse? #audiowalk

A spellbinding novel about family and lovers and the meaning of home. It‘s about secrets and memories that warms our hearts. This book is as satisfying as a tall glass of ice tea on a hot summer day.

Good story. Now I need the third book, which is on its way to me!

Yesterday was my birthday and believe it or not I didn‘t read!! Instead I spent the day in Lancaster with my sweetie. We had a wonderful day! Going to start a new book today.

Continuing my visit to Peachtree Bluff with the second installment of this story. Loving it just as much as I enjoyed the first 🍑🍑

LOVED this 2nd book in the Peachtree Bluff series. I think I enjoyed it even more than Slightly South of Simple. While one of the issues was wrapped up a bit too neatly, overall, I really enjoyed getting to know these characters better. I am really looking forward to the next book. Oh- warning- it was definitely a tearjerker in parts!! I can‘t thank @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks enough for sharing this with me! 😊

I can‘t wait to have time to read this!!

I know the secret. Do you? This second book of the Peachtree Bluff series had me laughing, crying and putting me smack in the middle of this true southern family. Family and unconditional love are anchored throughout this story. The storyline did drag in a few places but overall a great summer read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful little gem, the 2nd book in series, that will have you laughing and tearing up in Peachtree Bluff Georgia. I love how this family faces their fears, heartbreaks and crisis through being strong resilient women — it shows the true meaning of family through three generations of southern women. I recommend reading Slightly South of Simple first to learn the characters and their family history. Highly recommend! 5 ☆

My absolute favorite book so far this year. If you love women‘s fiction, especially that set in the south....do not miss this series. This is book 2 and book 1 must be read first. I have a book hangover!
