Tonight‘s reading. i can‘t even watch TV right now 🙁
After Luke‘s wife, Natalie, dies from cancer, he begins receiving letters from her in the mail. These letters, so wonderfully sweet, help him grieve and continue moving forward each day as he raises their 3 kids without her. Mysteries arise after her death that send Luke into investigator mode. I really enjoyed this book filled with drama, grief, and love. #MountTBR #BlameitonLitsy
I got surprisingly swept up in the story and stayed up late reading this, so that‘s definitely a mark in favor of this novel. The structure here is very suspenseful, but it‘s not actually a thriller. It ends up being an exploration of how relationships continue on and change after one person dies.
Started this today. Hoping it‘s a quick read for me- I want to start another book on Monday for a read-a-long, but I have to read this because I have book club on Friday. #readingproblems 😂 #bookworm
Oh man. This book was amazing! I loved that Emily Bleeker wrote so smoothly and was able to suck me into Luke and Natalie's life so effortlessly. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going, she would drop a new little detail and change up my theory. The one critique I have is that I feel like the book ended extremely abruptly. I would have liked a finish that didn't leave me wondering about the characters.
Priorities.
Prepping for my phone interview in about 30 minutes. What are your best tips for acing them?

This was a really great story. There was a lot going on, but it definitely keeps your interest. It‘s about a grieving husband who finds out secrets after his wife has passed and how to cope with moving forward and dealing with life. I️ really enjoyed this one!
Free from Kindle Unlimited. I bought a new Kindle and Amazon offers a free 30 day trial.
I finished this one of the weekend. It was a fast-paced, easy read for me. I gave it 3 stars because it was a light read that I didn't have to put much thought into but felt the storyline just a little odd.
Today's author spotlight: Emily Bleeker! Her 3 books have surpassed one million copies sold. She discovered her passion for writing after teaching a writing workshop. She lives in Chicago's suburbs with her husband and children. I have mixed feelings about this book. It was a quick read: fast-paced, interesting, and I never wanted to bail. However, the story is often over dramatic or even outlandish, and there seemed to be a lot of crazy stuff crammed in to one little novel. I didn't like how forced the ending felt. I listened to this on audio, and didn't enjoy the narrator at all, but I don't think that colored my feelings. This book could be a Lifetime movie. 😐 ⭐⭐⭐
Current audiobook. The story is interesting, but the narrator is slightly annoying. 😐
Planning to read something else completely from the Kindle Lending Library when I saw that I already had this book checked out (since Sept!) and decided to read it first.
I struggled through the first 1/3. It picked up after that, but I'm not sure if it was in a good way, or just a "this is getting so crazy, I can't wait to see where this goes" way. Or maybe that is the good way? ?
Oh my gosh you guys, I loved this book. It was so good! It was long, but so well written, so many twists and turns, that I flew through each chapters. I'm an Emily Bleeker fan, and ordered her book Wreckage as soon as I was done with this book.
So excited for access to more books!! Haha maybe I'll have to clear some out of my library lists and physical TBR piles before I can take full advantage of this.
This was entertaining, but predictable and contrived in some spots. I enjoyed Wreckage, but not this one as much
Listening to the audiobook version of this book (34% done) and I am liking it so far. It's getting really interesting 😊 anyone else read this one??
Did this as an audio book, my first ever. Got off to a slow start but picked up fabulously and was a great read/listen.
I LOVED this book. It was so compelling and easy to read, yet the plot was complicated and twisty. It was so easy to feel for Luke and to hate Natalie at times, but that was the fun in reading it. My heart broke more than once and I shed a few tears. I recommend it!
I enjoyed this. I did not like this as much as Bleeker's previous book (Wreckage) but there were enough secrets revealed to keep me invested. The story is a good one but *sigh* having so many plot-things going on with the main character felt clunky at times. Dan John Miller narrates the audio.
An incredible book with a crazy, wonderful twist ending. It's amazing what secrets we'd take to the grave.
