6 hours into my #24in48, and about 2/3rds of the way through my second book. This vaguely Egyptian inspired YA fantasy series is so fast-paced it flies by.

I‘ll start by saying this was a good conclusion to the Court of Fives trilogy. It has everything you want—divided family loyalties, political machinations, love, betrayal, treachery, and...I‘m sure you get where I‘m going with this. I‘ll also say, it starts quickly & does not let up. Jessamy is torn between two worlds & war is brewing. She will have to choose a side, sacrifices will need to be made, & there is no telling who will win. A good read.
Diving deeper into my TBR pile—instead of adding to it—and next up the conclusion to the Court of Fives trilogy. Kate Elliott never disappoints so I‘m anticipating a good read.
