pickAt first I was bummed because the first half of the book is just a history of the move west BASED on some of the women's diaries. However, once I started reading I was just captivated. It's actually quite amazing that anyone made it West!
I thought the trek from NY to CO in a U-Haul towing a car with 2 cats during a pandemic was hard enough, but if we had to take everything apart to cross a river by raft...Yeah, I'd still be in NY 🤣
