My #SeasonalCozies pick for this month since it's set in early spring. I adored the first book in the series, so I'm looking forward to this one.

This week's reading twist is the murder mystery turning out to be cheerier and more relaxing than the children's book, or either books featuring anthropomorphized animals!

Will definitely be continuing in the series. 1/2

I much preferred this one to the first in the series as I was able to stay interested throughout the whole book.

I really think the only reason I'm sticking it out with reading these is because I paid for them! Some aspects of the mystery kept me interested and entertained but many things were too tidy and mostly I was just bored.

Finished up this fun cozy mystery while #audiocleaning this weekend. This series is a delightful listen when I need something light.

Another enjoyable outing with Lady Hardcastle and Armstrong! In this, book 2, Lady H, A, and Lady Farley-Stroud attend a market day a few towns over, and one of the farmers ends up face-down in his pie. Was it murder? And, H and A attend a seance in the Dog and Duck - is Madam Eugenie all she seems? Who is leaving messages from the grave on a blackboard in the alley? How many sandwiches can one respectably eat? Lots of fun, can't wait for book 3!!

This is a cute little cozy mystery series with some very funny banter between Lady Hardcastle and her maid/co-sleuth Florence. I listened to the whole thing today!
