I have only read the introduction and can‘t wait to hear Chanel Miller‘s real story.

Unsure what to anticipate with this book. I enjoy poetry but I‘m not sure about a whole book in prose.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next volume and am wary but excited for the tv show. I read all 4 volumes in less than 4 hours and it was the most productive day of the year so far.
The exploration of mental illness feels both very raw and real while being not to heavy and easy to consume. I was able to continue reading without being too triggered or stress. It‘s nice to read a queer story with limited angst that doesn‘t make me feel such dread.
Seeing a boy who thought he was straight just so easily accepting his sexuality and crush on a boy means the world to me. I love the pure fluff of this graphic novel.
A gay graphic novel about boys just falling in love is something that can be so personal.
I much preferred this one to the first in the series as I was able to stay interested throughout the whole book.
I really enjoy lighthearted British mystery books because they are fun and quick reads.
Not my favourite book. I have trouble connecting with literary fiction and I just wasn‘t able to finish it.
Truly one of the most chilling and thrilling experiences I have ever had while reading a book. A depressing and dark masterpiece.
I absolutely adore Poirot. My favourite of Agatha Christie‘s series‘.
A book I would very much recommend. I listened on Audiobook and finished within two days. Loved it!!
I am very happy that I‘ve finished this book. I rarely finish series and also I sobbed multiple times during this book.
I really enjoyed this and can‘t wait to start ruin and rising and finish the trilogy.
The first time I tried to read this book I was thirteen and uncomfortable with any type of romance scenes. But I really enjoyed this book and am glad I watched Netflix show. Onto the next one.
I was entirely and completely thrown by the ending. Maybe I‘m dumb but I did not see it at all until the last couple of chapters.
I enjoyed this book WAY MORE than I thought I would. I‘m usually very picky when I read classics and I find it very hard to be stay interested. This took me a bit to get into but overall I really liked it.
Excellent book. Very creepy. Could not recommend enough!!!
5/5 one of the most thrilling and wonderful books I‘ve read in a while. I rarely give books 5 stars anymore so this is an accomplishment.
I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I enjoyed the ending greatly but I would of preferred it more without the epilogue as it kinda cut the genuineness of the final scenes with Emily and her sister. It was nice seeing them accept their fate together knowing they would be the last things they would ever see and not knowing if Emily‘s idea had worked at all.
I really love this and would love to delve into more queer YA. I would LOVE some suggestions.
I personally didn‘t enjoy this. I always have a hard time getting into non-fiction and this was one that i could not continue reading for maybe more than five minutes per session. Maybe I‘ll give it another chance another time. But I don‘t think I‘m in the right headspace at the moment to do that.
Quick Q: how does one even gather litfluence? I am unsure how it works. Thanks!
I‘m almost 40% through this book and it‘s really good so far. It‘s fast paced and Alex is snarky and fun. It‘s a book I think I should have read as a kid but never got around to it. Would really recommend the Alex Rider tv series as well. The narrator of the audiobook has a great repertoire of voices and accents.
I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting and fast paced and unique. Stevie is such a flawed and amazing character. I enjoy all the leading characters (Janelle, Nate, even Ellie) except for David. I really hope that their relationship ends. I would prefer Stevie with Nate. Can‘t wait for the next one. The audiobook is great btw!!! Both mysteries in this were intriguing and I can‘t wait to find out what really happened.
‘how long
does it take
a story
to become
a legend?
how long before
a legend
becomes
a god or
forgotten?
ask the rain
what it was
like to be the river
then ask
who it drowned.‘
‘On this night, my body
unwound like a spool.
I was beneath a boy
who loved thread for all the things
he could make of it.‘
I highly recommend this book. It was a big help for me while writing a high school research paper about Bayard Rustin. The man behind the movement, who did so much but was forgotten by history for so long, all because he was gay. Truly an amazing man who lived such a interesting life. I chose him to write my research paper and I‘m happy I did because I don‘t think I would have done as well with someone else. A black and gay icon and hero of a man.
I hate this book with a passion. Yet the film the hours which was based off the book is one of my favourite films ever.
So this book wasn‘t bad. While I was reading it I was involved but as soon as I stopped I had a hard time getting back into it because it had realised all the flaws and things I disliked. Luckily I finished in like two gos
Can‘t wait for The Umbrella Academy: Dallas
I‘m very excited for the next one
I‘m really starting to get into this series now
A quick and somehow slow comic. Hopefully the series will improve
I love a fantasy book of any sort really. But having a wow couple really elevates the stakes and makes me more intrigued. I can‘t wait to read the next book as soon I can get my hands on it.
Emily is smart and emotional and genuine. She cares so much even though she know that she actually doesn‘t or shouldn‘t.
