I know sometimes her books have a tendency to be super fluffy with not much plot, this was far from that. This was a feel good story with a plot full of redemption, second chances, healing and hope. The character development is great; whether you love them or hate them, it is dutifully earned feelings for very specific reasons. A great, cozy read. Even better, it was also my #bookspin!

Snuggling up with this read this afternoon ☕️

A nice heart-warming and hope-filled story about redemption and second chances. The writing was a little flat to me and a lot of times it did feel like a Hallmark movie. But it was nice to take a break from heavy, darker reads and celebrate the good and beautiful things that can happen in the world.

Making progress in this book this morning while the little monster naps in my lap. He never stays far from me on weekends 🥰

Another sweet story. Just what I needed.

This is a Hallmark movie in book form. Down on her luck heroine meets sad widower pastor. You can figure out the rest. A nice, clean, Christian love story.

Just finished my first-ever Debbie Macomber novel & first-ever Goodreads contest win. ?Debbie is a woman of faith, passion & hope and that's exactly what I found here. A compelling story about second chances and how chance meetings can profoundly change our lives. Can a felon & preacher find love amid a conservative congregation & heavy baggage from their past??Some characters you want to hug, others you want to slap silly. Fun "feel-good" read!

A sweet, contemporary romance that deals with real life relationships and issues while keeping it clean, wholesome, and wholeheartedly wonderful. ❤️
