Not book related but how cute is my baby brother? Got locked out of my house last night so had to come to my parents home for the night. But I got extra cuddles with my favourite new cutie. And mom and dad made us all pancakes for breakfast. Good time with family.
Bell says: I never said I wanted a little brother. In fact, if it's all the same to you, I'd like to go back to being an only child. Free stinky boy to a good home!
(Mommy and daddy think he's pretty sweet)

I know this isn't book-related, but I love the relationship my 2 youngest (almost 16 and 3) have. Little man climbs into bed with his sister every morning to chat and give good morning kisses before he goes downstairs for breakfast. This morning big sis was actually awake, so the conversation went even better. Happy Sunday, fellow Littens!
When Marcus finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time he is arrested and detained for terrorist activity. He is interrogated, tortured, and threatened to life imprisonment, or worse. Upon his release, his desire for personal and national freedom and security leads him down a chilling path that questions all he knows about liberty and justice. This is a great read which is only growing more pertinent in our society.
Woah. If you want to question whether the book is non-fiction and you just weren't paying attention to the news, this is that book. Also, you will never trust your tech/government again.
Never underestimate the determination of a kid who is time-rich and cash-poor.
Set in 2008, there is nothing that happens in this book that doesn't sound like it could happen today or at any point in the near future. There's no reason to believe that anything in this story couldn't have happened in the last 16 years following the events of September 11. I suppose that's what makes it great fiction. I just recommend not letting it be the last thing you read before bed.
Recommended by @thomdunn and woo boy isn't creeping me right the hell out.
Had to re-read- - yet again. Seems very appropriate these days.
Starting to read for #litsychallenge2017 - published ten years ago.
YA Audio I love my tin foil hat. I adore teens figuring out that nonconformity rubs the establishment raw. This story is well told and is for those who like Mr Robot, Predator Nation (was in the recommended section), Snowden, and Anonymous this ones for you. Don't be a sheeple
Wonderful way to bring 1984 into the new age.
