4 posts | 4 read | 3 to read
In "Athena the Brain," Athena always knew she was smart and special, but she didn't realize that she was a goddess! When she's whisked away to Mount Olympus Academy, she worries about fitting in and dealing with her dad (Zeus). Luckily, she meets the Goddess Girls and finds the best friends she's ever had.

Pickpick

My assigned reading from the kiddo. This is one of her favorite series.

Athena as a tween receives a summons from her newly-announced dad Zeus to attend his school for god-kids (and select mortals). Drama ensues.

Kiddo had a good point about Heroes in Training, another myth-based series by the same authors - being more fun. It has much more adventure, while Goddess Girls has more relational drama driving it (my words, her sentiment).

Tamra Thank you for posting, we‘ll check it out. 5y

A little too cheesy for my tastes. Plus it deviates from the myths. A better way to learn the Greek myths without reading dry text would be with Rick Riordan.
