I wore red in solidarity today for International Women's day. This is the only red shirt I own! Lol

#girlpower

MarriedtoMrT I had to dig deep in my closet to find red. I like red so I don't know why I don't own more red clothes. 8y
That-Bookish-Hiker @MarriedtoMrT I thought I had more lol. My fav color is green and I have one shirt that color. 8y
MarriedtoMrT @That-Bookish-Hiker Same! I love green but have only one sweater right now. I've been gravitating toward black a little too much. 8y

I know it's a privilege to be able to participate in #adaywithoutwoman. But I am pleased to be able to do so. I accidentally just read some comments on NPR and it's very discouraging to see the hate directed towards women for doing this. The worst part is how many other women are bashing and hating on women who are participating. It's really sad. If people would take the time to find out what it is really about they wouldn't be so quick to judge

ReadingSusan Also I will not be doing a social media blackout because I prefer to interact with my community in solidarity. 8y
sprainedbrain The hate from women hurts the most, but we all need to do what we can. I can't take off work, but I'm wearing red and will talk to whomever I can in support. 8y

The library didn't have the poetry book I was looking for, but I found this instead. No complaints. #snowday #resistance
