My favorite summer fruit is watermelon. I will eat it until I feel mega bloated. For the veggies, I'll have to go with my fresh salsa.
The Dry or Where Is Joe Merchant? are two of my favorites set in Summer.
Yes, I have seen dolphins in the wild, but no whales.
Thanks for the tags @Bklover & @Trashcanman !

@Megabooks congrats on the Litsy milestone, and thanks for the generous giveaway opportunity! One of my favorite summer reads is Where is Joe Merchant? Jimmy Buffett has been a favorite of mine for years. His music and books are made for summer. If I win the #25Etsy I'll find some bookish goodies for me or someone else.

Hey, Parrotheads. Here‘s the inside of the Margaritaville Hotel in Hollywood, FL. Can‘t hear tequila without thinking of Jimmy B.

I went with a Jimmy Buffett theme today.🌴

1. Everything gets green again.
2. Work gets fricken crazy!
3. A lively folk tune, like this one. https://youtu.be/xoR7PapDNY0 The Opening Act of Spring by Frank Turner.
4. Hike my winter tummy off.😀
5. Where Is Joe Merchant? A fun jaunt through the Caribbean to make you ready for warmer weather.

After several heavy/intense, dark books, I needed something light and fun. This fit the bill. It isn‘t high art, but that isn‘t the point of most of Jimmy Buffett‘s work. He‘s a storyteller first and foremost, and a good one. This had enough adventure, absurdity, humor, romance, warmth, and mysticism to get me through the cold, dark winter.
