I really appreciated this book for being able to hit me with feels I didn‘t see coming at all. Maybe since I read the authors other work, it shouldn‘t have been a huge shocker when tragedy struck but it still felt out of the blue.
Twelve years ago, this was the first book that started my obsession with Laurie Halse Anderson's novels. #TBTReads
Picked this up from one of the coolest Free Little Libraries I've ever seen today. Hoping that I can finish and return it by the end of the conference so I don't have to carry it back with me.
The lower portion of my children's/MG/YA stack.
Back at it this morning with my favorite blanket and mug! Winter theme! But that's ok because I keep it at winter conditions in my house during summer anyway. Asthma problems. Hoping to surpass my personal goal of 12 hours! #24in48
I had to mix it up with a YA book for right now then onto the next mystery. There was a whole bag of sugar snap peas but I ate most of them before seeing this hours check in. #24in48 #snacks
I also discovered that I won a prize for hour 18. So excited!! I never win anything!!
I'm reading this book about a chemistry-loving high school senior. I had a bit of insomnia, but overall got a good night's sleep. Happy reading everyone!! 🎉📚🎉📚🎉 #24in48
"The rate of a chemical reaction depends on the frequency and force of collisions between molecules."
Kate Malone is a straight-A science and math geek, minister's daughter, ace long-distance runner, new girlfriend, unwilling family caretaker, and emotional avoidance champion. Kate manages her life by organizing it as logically as the periodic table. She can handle it all—or so she thinks. Then, things change as suddenly as a string of chemical reaction
Absolutely loved this. The standard teen fear and hope for the future, is 👍
