Now reading. Such a fascinating exploration of a subjective, indefinable yet constant aspect of reality.

A little under an hour remains, but I managed to get in 18 hours and 56 minutes so far. I just had to do that pesky work thing, darn it! Great challenge.
Finished "American Heiress," "Secret Life of Souls," started "The First Wife," "The Old Sex Symphony," "White Privilege...Post-Racial Society," "In an Empty Room," and continued "The Haunted." Some audio, some e, and one print.
Those clocks that give the exact, official time in some laboratory somewhere on the planet? They don‘t exist!
I don't even know how many times I checked this ebook out of the library, but I just can't finish it. It has some really interesting tidbits, but I found some parts too shallow & some too deep. I could never get into it.
Took the kids to the library and checked out a bunch of books- yeah I don't know what I was thinking
What is time? Is it a timekeeping piece of jewelry or an idea that dictates every part of our existence? Alan Burdick looks at the concept of time in many forms. From the time of human development where our life cycles come with each passing second to the philosophies that affect our lives and well being to the belief in the physics of time traveling, the subject is certainly one to ponder and study
#TBRtemptation post! The rest of the title should be: "(Especially On the Weekend)", lol. "Time" is the most common noun in the English language, and we think about it...all the time. What is it though? Why is it perceived differently by children and adults? Why does it seem to slow when we're bored? Why does it speed up as we age? How & why does it fly? AB visits scientists around the world & the most accurate clock. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook ?
