FYI: Chris Ware is another level of incredible.
I‘m not a bit graphic novel reader - but I do love the artwork if Chris Ware. ⭐️
My husband surprised me with Rusty Brown by Chris Ware. If you are a Chris Ware fan there is an excellent interview with him on the Writers & Company podcast

This is a review & my #bookreport for the week. Finally finished this one. I got a free copy in a goodreads giveaway. Chris Ware is an amazing artist. He packs so much in each page & panel. Sometimes too much! This book was physically hard to read as it is oversized & heavy! It's also hard to engage with his characters & you have to track the story through time, forward & back. Still I feel it's ultimately a rewarding journey. For me it's a pick.
This graphic novel was rough for me. There was a lot going on, but not always with plot. The story jumped around POV and always connected back, but I didn‘t care about all of them.
